Meet our newlyweds Sharleen & Brendan who got married earlier this June. Both had such an amazing Wedding day and put sooo many details into their special day I can’t possible tell them all.

We had started the day with both Bridal and Grooms preparation and both had lots of fun right from the morning of their Wedding day. Both were so happy and in love, it truly shows in everything they did. We had a very heartfelt Ceremony at Mount Temple Church and as Brendan is a musician, there were amazing musicians, playing the best, most sought after traditional Irish tunes for all Wedding guests.

When we met Sharleen she told us that nothing on their Wedding will be ordinary and right she was! I love it when couples put their own stamp on their Wedding. Together with her Mum, Sharleen made her own Wedding dress with two different skirts, so she could slip into something more comfortable for her dances in the evening. Sharleen & Brendan also didn’t have a Wedding cake – the had a massive fruit buffet which was absolutely perfect for a hot summer day. Our bride even created her own bridal bouquet and this one will truly last forever. And look at all the little details at the church, the decoration, candles, lovely signs about love, music and so much more… all created and made by our bride! I just could go on and on about all the details, the work and the love that was put into this Wedding.

For the photo-shoot we went with Ian from Ian Hennessy Photography to the field where our couple will build their first home together and here too we had lots of fun before heading to the Hodson Bay Hotel, where we met up with the Bridal Party.

After a fantastic meal, Sharleen & Brendan had their First Dance. As they met at a ceili where Brendan was playing and Sharleen was dancing, their First Dance reflected just that. The song-choice for the Highlight Video was carefully selected by our couple, so enjoy watching it.

We also found a lovely little thought about marriage on their mass booklet which we’d like to share with you:

Marriage is like Music – both are playing different instruments and different parts, but as long as you’re playing from the same sheet music, you can create something beautiful.

Sharleen & Brendan, thank you very much for letting us be a part of your Wedding day. We truly enjoyed it and are wishing you both only the very best as husband & wife.
