One of our Winter Weddings just before the new year, was the one from the lovely Emma & Peter. Both had an amazing day with friends & family and a beautiful, heartfelt Ceremony in Co. Longford.
Little did we know at the time of booking, that Emma literally lives around the corner from us, so filming the morning preparations was totally locally for us. While I filmed Emma and her Bridal Party getting ready to leave for the Ceremony, Anthony went to The Rustic Inn in Abbeyshrule, where Peter and his groomsmen were getting ready for the big day ahead.
Everybody was in such good spirits all day long and there was so much fun and laughter from the onset. Emma had put so many countless lovely little touches to their special day and her bridesmaids helped too, with a fantastic keepsake of a stitched Wedding picture and also hand-painted mugs to mark the celebrations.
After the Ceremony in the beautiful St. Brigids Church, located in the middle of the heritage village of Ardagh, we had a few snaps right outside the church before we went first for a tiny stop at the local pub/post office. After that we were heading to Abbeyshrule for the photo-shoot. Right outside The Rustic Inn are lovely grounds, not to forget our Royal Canal, where we got amazing footage together with Clare Frances who was their photographer for the day. Having been guests at The Rustic Inn ourselves many times, but never for a Wedding, we were amazed how the venue had turned out. It looked absolutely amazing, the food, service and simply everything was spot on and not only guests were well looked after, but us Wedding vendors too.
Emma & Peter, thank you very much for letting us be a part of your very special day. We loved spending your Wedding day with you and your families and we are both wishing you only the very best for your future as husband & wife.
