We had amazing sunshine on this fab bank-holiday weekend in May. Our couple Margaret & Joshua chose the Glasson Golf Hotel in Co. Westmeath for their lovely intimate Wedding Celebrations. Our bride and groom live in Australia and fell in love there too, so lots of guests have traveled from there to be with our couple on their very special day.
Margaret looked absolutely stunning in her Wedding dress and the fab surroundings of the Glasson Golf Hotel certainly made for a fantastic backdrop for our shoots on the day. We had the pleasure working with the amazingly talented Elaine Barker on this Wedding and we got great footage of our couple and their guests on the grounds of the Hotel. On this wedding we filmed a “first touch”, which is quite different to the popular first look. This way you can have a wee little chat with your other half, yet still keep the excitement of seeing each other for the first time up the aisle. Fab idea we think – we’re loving it!
For the ceremony we were overlooking Lough Ree on this warm & sunny day. Music during the ceremony was provided by Brenda Grealis who enchanted everyone both on the harp and guitar. What a very festive occasion.
