Usually Ursula & Noel are enjoying glorious sunshine all year round as they live in Australia but for their wedding day, they decided to tie the knot in their homeland: Ireland. Luckily the weather wasn’t too bad and we still had a lovely summer for their big day in Athlone. We covered both the groom’s and the bridal preparations and had lots of fun on the morning with our couple. Noel’s suit jacket had a lovely little touch: their wedding date was stitched onto the inside of his jacket. What a great idea! Ursula and her “bride squad” had lots of fun with both Anthony and their photographer Liam Kidney, who captured the still images on this fab day.
After the Ceremony we had lots of fun at the photo-shoot and lets not forget the yummy ice-cream treats from Rockfield outside the Church. Some of you might have recognized our location for the fun-filled photo-shoot…. no? It is at Glendeer Pet Farm and the lovely cute little farmhouse on site.
Arriving at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, we were greeted with tunes from a traditional bagpipe and had lots of fun at the reception of Ursula & Noel. Their seating-plan was another great idea, incorporating their new home Australia to their wedding day: a surfboard. Absolutely fantastic! Among countless other lovely details, like their gorgeous wedding cake, this was truly a happy family wedding.
